These are northpixel computer services’ terms and conditions. This document informs our customers of our service and sales conditions.
Please ensure you read these terms before using our services. By using our services, you are agreeing to these terms before, during and after any works are carried out. Northpxel takes no responsibility if the customer chooses not to read these Terms & Conditions before accepting or booking in any work with Northpixel. - Sales of new and used equipment
- Cloud service configuration, maintenance and operation
- Advice on IT related enquiries
- Network design, installation and support
Accepting work
We reserve the right to refuse or decline to undertake any work and retain the right to discontinue work if we feel it is in the best interest of Northpixel and the customer. Any costs incurred would be invoiced and become due at the point of work being discontinued.
Charging
The total charge to you will consist of the cost(s) of:
- Labour (the amount of time spent by the technician carrying out work) including all reasonable time spent in obtaining non-stocked materials, charged in accordance with our current hourly rates. Time spent on jobs is tracked on our job management system and backup can be provided if requested.
- Materials, consumables and sundries supplied by us.
Quotation and Deposit
Where a written quotation has been supplied to you, the total charge is outlined in the quotation. Northpixel will require a 50% payment of the total cost of the quotation upon you instructing the quotation. We will not book work in or order any materials until this payment is made. Should it become evident that works accepted may out-run the originally quoted price you will be informed at the earliest opportunity and Northpixel will discuss with you the best way to proceed. Any additional works will not be undertaken without your agreement for your peace of mind.
Invoicing
Upon completion of work, you will be invoiced for the balance, of which is due upon receipt. The invoice will reference any quotations accepted as well as detail around time spent on the job and materials used. Any customer equipment in the possession of Northpixel will remain that way until the balance is settled.
Parts
Parts supplied and installed by Northpixel will remain the property of Northpixel until payment is received in full.
Payment & Credit
You accept sole liability to make payment in full upon completion of works. Northpixel reserves the right to refer payments to a third-party debt collection agency if payments are not made within a reasonable time frame without explanation. It is the customers responsibility remain in frequent contact and immediately notify Northpixel if there is an issue with payment or dispute around charges.
Credit is not offered to private paying customers unless prior agreement is made in writing and accepted by both parties.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking/appointment, you must notify us as soon as possible. You may be charged for bookings if you confirm a booking and are not at site when we arrive.
Guarantee
Northpixel is committed to providing professional, high quality service to every customer. All works are guaranteed for three months from the invoice date. All parts have a manufacturer guarantee which will be utilised in the event a part fails.
Only parts supplied by Northpixel, or advised to you by Northpixel as being suitable will covered by the three month guarantee. If the customer choses to purchase their own parts, against our advice, they will not be covered by our three-month repair work guarantee.
Complaints
If, after we have carried out the work, you are not wholly satisfied with our service(s) you must provide us with written complaint within one week. Upon receipt of your complaint, we will confirm we have received your notice and carry out an internal investigation. Once this investigation has taken place, we will confirm our findings and discuss with the customer a way forward. Written notice and complaints will not be investigated by Northpixel if they are after the 3 months of the invoice date.
